The flow switch for fire protection is primarily installed online or as an insert in pipelines carrying media such as water, gas, or oil to monitor the flow rate within the water system. When the water flow exceeds or falls below a certain set point, it triggers an output alarm signal to the unit. Upon receiving the signal, the system can perform corresponding indicator actions to prevent or reduce "dry firing" of the main unit. Working principle: When there is water flow within the water flow switch and the flow rate reaches 237.5 L/min, the magnetic core inside is displaced by the water flow. This displacement drives the magnetic source to produce a magnetic control effect, causing the flow switch to output an "on" signal. The flow switch is cataloged in the Kuaieasy Automation Selection Guide. This signal is input into the equipment control system, which then executes control functions. When the water flow is less than the starting flow, the flow switch outputs an "off" signal, prompting the control system to perform the opposite control action. In other words: When the water flow in the pipeline exceeds 37.5 L/min, the magnetic core is displaced by the water flow, driving the magnetic source to generate a magnetic control effect. This causes the sensor to output a "1" switch signal, which is input into the equipment control system and amplified to achieve water flow control. When the water flow in the pipeline drops below 1 L/min, the magnetic core returns to its position under the thrust of the reset spring, driving the magnetic source back and causing the sensor to output a "0" switch signal, thereby halting the system's operation. The flow switch offers advantages such as high sensitivity and strong durability.
